Axess Research and its commitment to protecting your data:

Axess Research has been processing, managing, and storing your data for many years in compliance with the CNIL (French National Agency regulating Data Protection). Following this approach, we are providing the public with a Personal Data Protection Charter.

This charter, a unique document relating to the personal data held by Axess Research, allows you to learn in a clear and precise way, the data processing conducted by Axess Research. It allows you to better understand what information and personal data Axess Research collects, and how we use it to offer you market research related to your medical specialty while respecting your rights pertaining to your personal data.

Axess Research is committed, in compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulations, to protecting your privacy by ensuring the protection, confidentiality, and security of the personal data you entrust to us.

We are committed to ensuring that your personal data is protected and never misused.

By sharing your personal data with us and choosing to continue receiving invitations to our studies, you confirm that you have read and understand the terms of our privacy policy. We take responsibility for the personal data we collect about you and want to be transparent about how we process your data, while allowing you to control it.

1. The main principles of data protection

Personal data is all information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.

Your name, email address, location data, and an ID are all data that can be considered as personal data.

Transparency: Axess Research provides you all the necessary information on the purposes and recipients of your collected data and the means to exercise your rights
Explicit and legitimate purposes of the use of your personal data: Axess Research only collects the data required for the purposes specified in this charter
Privacy, integrity, and security: Axess Research takes all reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from disclosure, loss, alteration, or access by an unauthorized third party. We do not disclose your personal data to third parties without your prior consent
Updating and maintenance: Axess Research ensures the quality, adequacy (no data unrelated to the proposed service) and updating of your data. Axess Research keeps your personal data only for the length of time required to achieve the purposes described in this charter
Right to access, correct, and delete your data: Axess Research offers you the possibility to access, modify, and correct your personal data directly via your personal account on the Axess Research website. Axess Research is also at your disposal to exercise your right to modify and delete your data in accordance with the terms set out below (see paragraph 3)

2. Axess Research and your personal data

2.1. When do we collect your personal data?

Your personal data is required when:

A voluntary registration on your part and the creation of a personal account on the Axess Research website
Your participation in a market study compensated by Axess Research

2.2. What data is collected?

Only the data strictly required to achieve the purpose of our studies is collected. We apply the principle of minimisation of collection.

The following information is requested: name, profession, specialty, subspecialty, hospital / university function, date of registration in the specialty, time spent in hospital, identification number, professional and personal contact information.

The provision of this personal data is a voluntary initiative on your part.

By providing us with this data, you consent to our processing of such data. However, we do not share this information with other parties without your prior consent.

In compliance with the law, Axess Research does not, under any circumstance, collect any categories of personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, genetic personal data, biometric data, personal data concerning your health, sexual life, and / or orientation as an individual.

These categories of personal data are never collected or processed by Axess Research.

2.3 Purpose

Axess Research collects personal data as part of its market research services.

This collected data is processed and analyzed to invite the appropriate individuals to participate in market studies related to their medical specialization.

2.4 Who processes and analyzes your personal data?

Axess Research ensures that only authorized persons have access to your personal data. This is strictly limited to the framework necessary for the execution of the project.

2.5 How is your personal data stored confidentially and securely?

Respecting your right to data protection, security and confidentiality is a priority for Axess Research.

The data is hosted in an OVH datacentre, in compliance with French and European legislation.

All operations with a third party are supervised in order to ensure the protection of your personal data and the respect of your rights.

There will be no transfer of your personal data to a country outside of the European Union.

3. How to exercise your right to access, modify, and delete your personal data

You can exercise your right to access, modify, or delete your data:
